Friday Favorites – Guest Post

This week’s Friday Favorites- Guest Post is from my dear friend Jessica Kramer. Jessica and I met many years ago at a Bible study and have been friends ever since. Enjoy her Friday Favorites!

Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11

This one I love because even though we go through hard times, He is always there for us!

Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion

My skin is super dry in the winter and I have finally found a lotion that works throughout the day.  It doesn’t feel greasy, goes on smooth. I always apply it right after I get out of the shower. Can be found at your local drug store, Target, Walmart, etc. Or you can buy it here.

 Norwex Products

I LOVE Norwex because then I don’t have to use chemicals in my home.  I have a lot of their products from the mop, the laundry detergent, the enviro cloth, the window cloth, dusting mitt.  The laundry detergent is $24.99 and I know you are thinking, “I would never spend $24.99 on laundry detergent”.  So I conducted a little study.  I have 4 members in our family and I typically do 3 loads, sometimes 4, one time per week.  Usually on a Saturday or Sunday so it’s all done for the week.  I use one teaspoon per load.  I wrote down when I purchased the detergent and it took me over a year to go through one bag of laundry detergent. The bag is 2.2 pounds and can wash up to 100 loads.   I feel so much better using Norwex and not having all the chemicals floating through the house. debbieclarkson.norwex.biz

Pampered Chef

I LOVE all their little gadgets, stoneware, knives, bakeware, etc!  Little side note: I really don’t like to cook.  It is the one thing that stresses me out daily.  But when I do cook or bake, I have a lot of Pampered Chef gadgets.  It was hard to narrow down to just one because I have a lot of favorites, but I would say the Make & Take Mason Jar!  It holds my salad, it has a little cup that holds anything you want to add to the salad but can’t until you are ready to eat the salad; such as crackers, croutons, etc.  It also has a lid that holds your dressing!  If you think that all sounds great, it also comes with a little bag and fork & spoon.  Perfect for taking to work or those days you are at your kid’s sporting event and you don’t want to eat the concession stand food.

Google Home Mini

I know that I could not live without my Google Home Mini now that I have one, actually I have one in our bedroom, one in the girls’ toy room, one in my daughter’s room, and the original Google Home in our living room/kitchen.  I love it most in our bedroom because I can set my morning alarm and when it goes off, I can ask Google to snooze for 10 more minutes or however long I want to keep sleeping.  I can ask what time it is when it’s the middle of the night and I can’t fall asleep.  I can set it to play love songs for 20 minutes as I drift off to sleep.  In the morning I can say “Good morning Google” and she will tell me the time, the temperature for the day, tell me what’s on my calendar, and then play one of the stations that I have picked. I recently changed her voice to have a British accent, which is super fun to copy!

And there you have it, Jessica’s Friday Favorites! Happy Friday everyone!

Until Next Time,

Neko (and Jessica!)
